Our members volunteer to sponsor/host an Oneg Shabbat on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. At the Oneg, we recite the blessings over the  challah and wine then enjoy the taste of delicious foods and the nourishment of friendship.

 Havdallah is a service conducted on Saturday night marking the end of Shabbat. It is held when 3 stars
are visible in the night sky. It is a ceremony in which wine, sweet smelling spices and a braided candle
are used to bid farewell to Shabbat and to mark the beginning of the week.
